Project Description
When visitors enter a new location, they want reliable reviews to ensure that their visit is enjoyable. LocalGuide is a student created mobile application that combines local and visitor reviews to bypass unreliable recommendations.

Problem Statement
When tourists use common apps such as Google Maps to try to find restaurants, places to stay, or activities, they are often faced with out-of-date options or bad recommendations that do not present an accurate picture of their destination. More reliable sources are often not free. Our solution is a free app that asks a series of questions to determine what to recommend based on information provided by locals. This will ensure that suggestions are up to date, safe, and not tourists traps.
